These are working herds, and the day is run by the families who keep them. The 6 below differ on how long you spend at the corral, whether a sled ride is included and what lands on the table afterwards.
Travel about 1 hour 15 minutes from Kiruna to meet Sámi herders Frederik and Peter. Feed reindeer, enter their pens, try a 1-kilometer sled ride, and eat reindeer meat in a traditional tent. Warm clothing, boots, transport, and lunch are included.

Travel 20 km from Kiruna to Rávttas for close contact with tame reindeer, lasso practice, Sami-style skiing, and a short sled ride. Guide Nils may lead the visit, which ends with smoked and fried suovas reindeer meat, bread, coffee, and stories by the fire in a lávvu.

From Kiruna, an English-speaking guide takes you by van to a reindeer farm for a four-hour Sami experience. Feed the herd, ride a reindeer sled, hear about Sami life, and eat reindeer meat in a lávvu by an open fire. Winter clothes and hotel transfers are included.
From Kiruna, Sámi reindeer herders Beatrix and Fredrik take you east into Lapland by reindeer caravan. You feed the animals, ride a quiet sled through the winter forest, hear stories of Sámi life, and finish with dinner by a fire in a traditional tent. Warm clothes and pickup are included.

Travel from Kiruna to Övre-Soppero by minibus for reindeer feeding, Sámi culture, warm lingonberry juice, and a Northern Lights hunt. The small group has up to eight people, hotel pickup is offered, and guides such as Lili, Patia, Joel, and Nils have led tours.

Travel from Abisko or Björkliden to Jukkasjärvi for three hours at Nutti Sámi Siida. Explore Sámi buildings, learn about local traditions, feed reindeer with Arctic moss, and warm up with fika at Café Sápmi. An optional guided tour starts at 12:15 PM.
