Cons: The whole experience lacked context. You learn quickly that Runes aren’t all that special then the mystery is gone. This was called a “Viking Tour” but what we got about Viking culture was in churches. Our guides didn’t have any visuals to give big picture context. Often I couldn’t understand him even with the ear piece. Most of our tour group had checked out, but he didn’t read the group. It seemed like he just pushed play in his memory at a location,…”
